Content

Here are a couple ideas for people/subjects we could put on the blog tell me what you think.

  1. We probably want to do MLK because he is such a big figure in Civil Rights
  2. Rosa Parks because she was one of the first to rebel for the cause
  3. Abraham Lincoln maybe because he made the emancipation proclamation
  4. Malcom X because he basically was fighting for the same stuff as MLK
  5. Harriet Tubman because she helped so many slaves achieve freedom
  6. Fredrick Douglass because he was fighting for the Civil rights before the movement became one
These aren't final ideas and we probably cant do all of them so tell me who you think we should definately do and we can eliminate the others.

    All are good. We just have to make sure that when we include the people who came before the acual movement, we separate them from the others. We could add them to a page about the backround, with the slave trade.

    I say we should do some thing about the treatment of the blacks including
    KKK
    Police during MLK
